Sensitive Plant


These plants grow alongside roads in our area. Although not carnivorous, the leaves close rapidly if touched.

It is a little different from the Mimosa in the lower picture. This one is a vine with thorns and the one below is a tree that gets about 30 feet tall and has similar flowers.

Beautiful image! If you look at the flower and mentally block out the background, it begins to look like fireworks with yellow at the end of the streams.
