We have a few other kinds like it but they are not blooming yet. They are scarlet red, pink, pink with the dots, white, and a yellowish one. They do sell domesticated ones and I think they are related to the mint. I thought it was pretty weird looking.

They are called bee balm also. This is a wild one. I bet you can get some really cool ones in Germany Nicola.
That is one funky looking flower. Is it an orchid? Where does it get its hair done? I like it.
