Very powerful plant! It's supposed to help strengthening your immune system (at least that's one of the things I've learned).

Wow, is this really the famed plant that we consume when we have a cold. It has never worked for me, I think we're all being ripped off.

Way to make a marketing scam look beautiful! A very interesting looking plant.

I have seen the boxes of medicines in stores with echinacea but i dont know if it works. I do know that a lot of people dug them up and now they are rare. You can grow em from seed dont dig them up everybody. sorry :)

It looks kind of wilted but that's actually the way this variety looks. There are two forms I have seen around here and I have not seen the other in a couple of years now. There is Echinacea Pallida which is the one in the photo, and Echinacea Purpurea 'The Purple Cone flower' which is what you see in the flower garden.
